The fascinating Humantay Lake which means "head of the gods" is located in the Vilcabamba mountain range, at the foot of the Humantay mountain range, the lake is turquoise in color due to the minerals found at the bottom, and is fed by glaciers from the mountain, it is considered a jewel of nature. In addition to enjoying the Humantay lake, we can enjoy the impressive views of the mountains that surround it.

Itinerary
Day 01 VISIT TO THE HUMANTAY LAKE – RETURN TO CUSCO
This day we will visit the Humantay Lake. Pick up from the hotel to start the excursion. We will head towards the northwest area, passing through Poroy and Limatambo and in approximately 2 hours 30 minutes we will arrive at the Mollepata district where we will have breakfast, we will continue our tour and after 1 more hour we will arrive in Soraypampa. Here, we will have a short rest and then start to our 1 hour and 30 minutes walk to the Humantay Lake which is located at 4200 m.a.s.l. During the tour we will be able to appreciate the impressive Salkantay and Humantay mountains, as well as a large amount of flora and fauna typical of the area. Once we arrive at the fascinating Humantay Lake, we will have time to take photos and explore the area. After our visit, we will start the return path that will take us 1 hour of walk to Soraypampa, where our mobility will be waiting for us to go to Mollepata where we will have our lunch, later we will board our mobility that will take us back to Cusco.
