Overview

Starting from the coast, from Lima, the capital of kings, walk through its streets and appreciate the contrast between the past and the present, with its still beautiful and imposing colonial balconies, old houses and catholic churches that show the religious and historical art that have written the history of this wonderful city.
Following the route, the next destination is the imperial city of Cusco, heart of the Inca Empire and Cultural Heritage of Humanity that shines for its history, its cultural legacy and its magnificence. We will take a panoramic view of the main places of Cusco. The next destination is the Mountain of Seven Colors, also known as the "Rainbow Mountain", that offers its visitors a wonderful panorama of majestic mountains and glaciers like Ausangate, crystalline rivers, herds of sheep, camelid breeders and Andean people dressed in their colorful native clothes. This is a high mountain route and reaches altitudes of up to 5000 m.a.s.l. which is a real adventure through a wild and untouched landscape.
Be prepared for the day you have been waiting for because we will ascend by bus to reach the beautiful citadel of Machu Picchu. Its remote location saved Machu Picchu from destruction and today it is a prime example of Inca architectural ingenuity, obtaining the designation of one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

Itinerary
Day 01 ARRIVAL - LIMA
Reception upon arrival at the Lima airport and transfer to the selected hotel. If you have a flight arriving in the morning, this day can be coordinated and make the City Tour of Lima in the afternoon so you can make better use of the time. Overnight in Lima.

Day 02 LIMA: COLONIAL & MODERN CITY TOUR
In the morning, we will start the Colonial & Modern City Tour in Lima. Start this tour with a panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana, pre-Inca temple, we will have the opportunity to visit the Main Square, Government Palace, the Cathedral, the Monastery and the Church of San Francisco, which includes a visit to its subway crypts known as Catacombs; colonial mansions, among others. Then we will visit the residential areas of Miraflores and San Isidro. Return to the hotel. Free afternoon. Overnight in Lima.

Day 03 LIMA / CUSCO – PANORAMIC CITY TOUR
In the morning, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Cusco. Reception and welcome upon arrival at Cusco airport and transfer to the selected hotel. The rest of the morning is free to rest and get a better acclimatization. In the afternoon, we will make the City tour in the panoramic bus where we will enjoy a panoramic view of the city of Cusco and some archaeological places outside the city, we will visit the Palace of Manco Capac, then continue with the visit to the temple of San Cristobal and its viewpoint, later we will participate in a ritual or ceremony of the sacred coca leaf with an Andean priest, and finally we will go to the viewpoint of Cristo Blanco where we will have a spectacular view of the entire city of Cusco and time to take pictures. Return to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 04 MOUNTAIN OF SEVEN COLORS – RETURN TO CUSCO
Pick up from the hotel to start the excursion. We will head south, through Urcos and in approximately 2 hours we will arrive at the district of Cusipata, where we will have breakfast. We will continue our journey until we arrive at the community of Tintinco and after 1 more hour, we will arrive at our destination, immediately we will begin our hike to the slopes of Vinicunca. Along the hike for 1 hour 20 minutes, we will pass through local villages where we can see herds of camelids, snow-capped mountains in the imposing Ausangate, and explore the vast meadows that offers the mountain of colors. Once we are at the top, we will have time to take pictures and explore the area. The return will take us 1 hour of walking, and after lunch, we will board our transportation that will take us back to Cusco. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 05 VISIT TO MACHU PICCHU – RETURN TO CUSCO
We will visit the Inca city of Machu Picchu. We will take the train to Aguas Calientes through Ollantaytambo (three and a half hours). Then we will take the bus to the holy city that remained unknown for centuries until accidentally discovered by Hiram Bingham in 1911. This Inca Center is one of the greatest wonders of the world. The guided tour to the archaeological site of Machu Picchu includes the visit to the urban sector, which houses the primary architectural elements of the Inca city. The main sites include: Temple of the Sun, Intiwatana, Sacred Rock, Temple of the Three Windows, Mausoleum, etc. Bus back to Aguas Calientes. Buffet lunch. In the afternoon, return to Cusco. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 06 CUSCO /LIMA – INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT
At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport in Cusco to take the flight to Lima and subsequently the international flight.

Expedition Train
This train has carriages with panoramic windows for travelers to appreciate the beauty of the natural landscape and to experience the adventure while staying comfortable, relaxed and safe. The service provides comfort at a lower cost.
Vistadome Train
This service is created for travelers who love nature and seek to be in contact with it, appreciate it and feel part of it. This train has fully panoramic windows connecting travelers with the route and offering wonderful views.
